Education gives equal opportunities to everyone in the short term and breaks inter-generational poverty in the long-run.
OWA believes education particularly, those in rural areas is a fundamental human right. She employs approaches such as improving access to education through sponsorship, collaborating with communities to remove education barriers, and donation of school materials across countries
Improving access to education:
OWA believes education is a fudamental right for children and youths which transforms lives and communities. OWA responds to educational needs by improving access to education across 7 countries particularly, children from rural areas ranging from primary, secondary, to tertiary education.
Vocational education is also provided for youths and adults.
Providing School Materials: OWA supports education by donating school-related items such as computers, uniforms, textbooks, etc.
Grants and Scholarships: One of the education interventions provided by OWA among others, is providing grants and scholarships for poor households across the countries we work in.
